Expert Craniofacial Surgeon
There are surgeons who choose their specialty, and there are those who are called to it. For Dr. Ciminello, the path was never in doubt. From the earliest days of his training, he was drawn to the patients who needed the most — infants and children whose conditions shaped not just how they looked, but how they moved through the world. That pull toward the most complex, the most consequential, the most human cases in surgery has defined his career and never loosened its hold.
What sustains nearly two decades of this work is not the technical challenge, though the challenge is real. It is what surgery makes possible — a child who breathes freely, a face that reflects who someone truly is, a family released from fear and uncertainty into something that feels like a future. He has watched children grow up, seen the lives that became possible because of a decision made in an operating room years before. Dr. Ciminello has spent his career at that intersection, where surgical precision meets profound human consequence. He does not take lightly what it means to hold that responsibility. He has built his life around honoring it.

A Message from Dr Ciminello

My path into facial surgery began with some of the most complex cases in surgery — children born with cleft lip and palate, craniosynostosis, and other craniofacial conditions that shape how a child looks, breathes, eats, and grows. That foundation shaped everything about how I practice: with patience, precision, and a genuine understanding of how much these outcomes matter.
The technical demands of craniofacial and cleft surgery are among the highest in all of plastic surgery. Operating at that level — where anatomy is altered, growth is ongoing, and the margin for error is narrow — builds a standard of precision that carries into every procedure I perform. It is that training that has allowed me to excel in facial reconstructive and cosmetic surgery, bringing the same exacting skill to procedures of every kind and complexity.
Every person who comes to me is trusting me with something deeply personal. I understand the weight of that trust. My commitment is to listen carefully, explain clearly, and deliver results worthy of the confidence you have placed in me.
